Nook miles

To be honest, not much! I am like you I have tons of nook miles. When a villager leaves my town I do buy some nook mile tickets in order to be able to catch just any other villager of the same personality who left, to ensure I have all personality types in my island. But thats about it !
I am hoping that soon rather than later they will improve the nook shop so it has more variety and it changes more often so that i can spend my nook miles !
following that line of though, when are we getting more hairstyles ? I was really expecting more types of hairstyles and while we are at it why not add maybe makeup for female characters and also face painting skins or tattoos so to say ( Eg: little snoflakes in cheeks or a moon in forehead, clown face mask etc )

i think i just buy NMT now. I used to use it for all kinds of things, but as the game goes on, its usefulness dries up.
NMT is popular for trading villagers & items, so it's never a bad idea to stock up just in case I lose my mind & decide I must have Raymond on my island

I trade my nook mile furniture for other variations and I purchase Nook Mile tickets. I’ve been low on nook miles since a few month ago i was spending heavily to make trades and my play time has been decreasing. A lot of times I don’t do much of the tasks and instead spend my time trying to come up with ideas for outside or for inside my house.

I also have a bunch saved up. I don't even get the chance to buy NMTs for island hopping- NMT seems to be the go-to "cash" option for trades, and I have a lot of villagers I like. I think the most I've ever used on one trip has been 20. I'd rather have the miles and not need them than the other way around, so I'm not really rushing to spend them.

I mostly just use them for NMT at this point, I haven't built up a massive amount of nook miles yet tho because I've only been playing the game for maybe a month at this point so I have no idea what I'm gonna do with them once I ge tall my dream villagers haha

I have almost 500,000 nook miles too. I’m just saving them in case I need more nmt because my last villager hunt on my other island did not go well at all and I used 431 tickets. I had about 300 tickets in my storage that I got from trades, so I didn’t need to use my miles yet, but I probably will for my next hunt.

I use all my miles on NMTs. I have horrendous island hopping luck.

I just do mystery island trips every once in a while. Definitely at a point where I have more points that I need. I know some people have hundreds of thousands of points...but I have about 80,000...and even that is way too many for me to really need/use. The mystery islands are quite tedious at this point...but I still need things like gold and the various types of wood...so I do resource runs.

I got mostly crud miles items (the teal phone box and brick lighthouse being bigtime exceptions) so most of my miles are funneled into NMT.

i have over 300k nook miles and honestly, i haven’t really done anything with them in quite some time aha. i don’t have any plans for my nook mile variants + i have an abundance of nmts in my storage and so, the only thing i’ve bought recently were the new halloween skin tones and eye colours,,
there really isn’t anything of interest to me atm so i’ve pretty much just been saving them up for anything new that might get added in the future :’)

I really only use them to buy NMT. I did have alot but I've been searching hard when I have an empty plot so I'm currently sitting on 11000 at the moment which isn't going to get me far....

Not much aside from visiting a mystery Island once I run out of materials. I don't have a need to island hop for villagers anymore, now that I got my ultimate dream villager to move in yes..him! and I keep some in storage just in case I ever need them to buy an item or DIY I may have overlooked.
I don’t really do anything with them. I’ll occasionally buy a NMT to go to an island for resources but other than that there’s no items that I want and I don’t often trade with other people so they’re pretty pointless to me.
