Is it just me or have i never encountered this?
most of my family like it, people who have seen me on it thinks it looks cute.. friends remember playing it when they were young so like it..

I don't usually bring my DS to school but honestly either nobody would care or they'd get all excited that I play animal crossing too

(I can't even imagine these ''preppy school full of preppy preps'' highschools everyone claims to go to i've never seen them outside of movies seriously)
(there has to be at least one other kid in your school with their DS in their pocket fervently searching for streetpasses)

Almost all of my friends are gamers. The rest are at least geeky in some way. That's why we're friends.

Strangers never seem fussed about my playing AC on the bus. Probably they're just happy that I'm keeping to myself quietly during everyone's commute. Everyone else has their faces glued to their fancy touchscreen phone, I just happen to have two screens my face glued to.

I get a handful of streetpasses going to/from every week, so there's others out there who play on the go.

My extremely non-geeky coworkers get excited when they see my 3DS because they want to know what new games are coming out and if they're good to buy for their kids, what places they can get the best deals on games/consoles at, etc.

There are actually a lot of people at my university with 3DSs; I get tons of streetpass hits every time I'm on campus. Sometimes I'll see someone else playing be like yooooo.

I do get curious looks on the bus sometimes, but myeh, I don't really care. Those fools don't know what they're missing c:<

there is a group at my school that play it at school, but they get made fun of a lot because i do go to a preppy school and its just so frustrating. i wish i didn't care what people think of me.

I carry my DS everywhere, but I live in the city so it's a great convo starter for that cute/hot guy or girl on the bus, haha. It's not even high school kids, it's adults and college kids. Dang, there are some major cuties who I see sporting a DS. ヾ( ･`⌓?･)ﾉﾞ

I go to college. My friends know, but nobody really ever makes fun of me. Not directly anyway, haha.

I play it a lot on the bus and at bus stops, but I've never really gotten insulted for having a 3ds alone.

edit. plus i'm the only one that plays it so i don't really have to worry about people running over flowers and stuff.

I'm 20 and get horribly judged by people just for having a 3DS. So I basically take my 3DS everywhere, and when I'm playing it in a waiting room/bus I get little kids looking at me and their mom's go, "you don't need that." or "don't be like that and play games when you're THAT old."

yeah, no.

also hahahaha i totally understand the boyfriend thing, he has turned off my DS countless times to play mario without saving, honestly, it was almost over.


also, i clearly go to uni with a bunch of losers since i never get any streetpass hits, i'm too ashamed to whip my ds out though, in fact i live in fear that someone will see it in my bag, i hate myself
