I forgot exactly how many days ago (I do TT) I gained my 9th villager, but. Consider that I already built Kicks' kicks, Leif's shop and the first Timmy and Tommy update AND I've already collected signatures for Shrunk's club.

And nobody ever moved out or even pinged me to move out yet. What the frick is going on?
Am I the only one experiencing this? Did they change some sort of game mechanic with an update recently by any chance?

I like this game a lot but I swear to god it just KEEPS. FINDING. NEW. WAYS. To drive me absolutely crazy. I mean, villagers moving in front my house despite qrs on the ground bc I forgot to keep a spot open, forcing me to reset the town; before that the whole fiasco of Amiibo-card villagers being locked forever into your town and never asking to move, and now this. WHy does Nintendo want me to hate their game? WHY?!?!?!?

Are you sure more than 10 days has passed? The duration of moving out after a villager decides to move used to be 3 days iirc, it was before amiibo update. But it has changed, you probably already know that but just reminding.

Welp, I already played like at least 30 or so days since I already got some shop updates (which require a minimum of about 20 days each), but after reading your reply I TTed another 2 weeks forward out of sheer desperation and lo and behold, Bonbon's house was gone!!
Before then I'd only re-played back and forth the same 5 days of the month that have the leaves/bush colours I want, so it turns out that apparently it had to be 10 days forward ON THE CALENDAR for any villager mobility to happen.

Frustrating, but I guess it's good to know my game's not broken. What a relief! Thank you :)

Ah I didn't know about that detail either, interesting. Good to hear your problem is solved now :)

In my old town, I would sometimes have month long periods where no one moved, even though I was neglecting my town. I don't know what causes it. Perhaps a villager with low friendship is thinking about moving, but stays because they "want to be better friends."
