I was wondering why some people does not allow visitor to talk to their villager...

if it was you I'd never want to leave...
villagers will only move to another player's town if they are already in boxes. personally, i dont even see a reason why some players forbid others to talk to their villagers.

Well one time the villager was not in a box and he said, "I met (name) from (town) the other day, and he told me stories about his town. I want new adventure and I'm moving out on the 30th!" or something along those lines a while ago.

I don't really care. my villagers move at free will, ever since Tangy and Mac (my best friends ;-; ) moved out..

I don't see the big deal in it. I know some people don't like to hear their villagers talk about other players, but IF they do, it's rather few and far between.

I dont mind if someone talks to my villagers. But, like 2 years later, there are some villagers that still talk about a vistor i had a long tine ago. I am guessing that sort of thing bothers some people. I like it! Reminds me of good trades, but i guess not everyone likes it.

Yep! That's another reason why they don't want you talking to villagers sometimes.
Yeah, the not-talking-to-villagers rule is set in stone at the Reddit AC communities. I got told by a few people that the traders on there don't like their villagers being tampered with, but I don't see the big deal; it's nice to look back at old trades.

not much people allow you to talk to their villagers because their villagers will say that they met this person from _____. It limits dialogue and it's annoying

In my original town, I'd invite people over and let them talk to the villagers. After a while, I didn't want to play with other people anymore and it became annoying to hear my villagers constantly bringing up their names. I have two games now (and both towns have been restarted), so the only people who talk to my villagers are my own characters.

I don't have a problem with it, but I guess it's the same as when you have a visitor in a dream, or when a villager moves from someone elses town, and the villager keeps mentioning them... Personally I like it, because I feel it gives the villagers more dimension and a story, but I could also see how it could become annoying if you have a lot of villagers!

That's true; they do also bring up people who they've dreamed about. That doesn't bother me, though.
I really like when people talk to my villagers. It makes them happy and they love to mention meeting 'that guy from so and so.' It's fun for them. Perhaps if a player is cycling, it makes a difference since they are trying to keep the villagers original?
