Has anyone ever seen or done something that nobody else would believe?

I would like to introduce this thread so you can tell it here!

I will start:

I was in the car with my mom and I was watching out the window when this car pulled into an abandoned parking lot and opened the door. I KID YOU NOT a body rolled out of the open door. It was a man. I don’t know if he was alive or not but he was on the ground. I couldn’t see any wounds or blood or anything. I would have told my mom but I don’t think she would have believed me because she was angry at the time.

Our van got hit by a MASSIVE bird on the interstate. We were on the way to a baseball thing when it happened. It was just a normal drive when BAM-the windshield was caved in. My dad was an MVP there-he drove 5+ miles to a police building and reported what happened before he got taken to the hospital. Thankfully none of us were hurt seriously (except for the poor bird).

Also our house got grazed by a tornado. It was a fairly nasty tornado on top of it being an EF3-borderline EF4. No one except for a dog got killed by it thank goodness but the damage was catastrophic; just a few houses down from us were destroyed! Even with the relatively small damage our house sustained we had to stay in a hotel for several months.

I time travelled. It sounds crazy right? Me just saying it? Imagine how it was to actually experience it? I swear I went back during a long walk. I don't know for sure if I did but I don't have any other explanation.

I was shiny hunting in Pokémon Moon and I've gotten two shiny rotoms in a row. Like literally hatched a shiny after another. Crazy luck lmao

Also at work some old dude in the parking lot was "stuck in his car" and kept telling me to get help but I just... opened the door for him. He looked at me in shock and was all "Woah! How did you do that?"

I think I saw Brenda Song (the actress who played London Tipton from the Suite Life of Zack and Cody)!

I was out shopping with my family when all of a sudden, I saw a woman who looked a lot like Brenda Song walk quickly down the street, accompanied by two bigger men (who I thought were her bodyguards). It happened so fast that I didn't have too much time to process, but I swear, in the few seconds I saw her, it was definitely Brenda Song. I remember telling my mom about it, and she agreed that it could have been Brenda Song but she walked by too fast for us to really tell.

In my defence, I later found out that Brenda Song had indeed been in one of the cities I'd been to as well as she was filming something there, but I have no way of proving if I actually ever saw her or not.

I feel like a lot of celebrity stories are like that, they're borderline believable but people just don't have enough evidence to back up their sighting for it to actually be believable, you know?

(Similarly, I think I saw someone who looked like a clone of Alexander Ludwig from the Hunger Games driving a car once, and I think I saw members of the band Hey Violet in the crowd of a 5 Seconds of Summer concert, but again, I have no proof of any of this.)

A dead rat fell from the sky and almost hit me on the head once. If I had just been literally one step ahead, I would have had dead rat guts all over me... it still makes me shiver thinking about it 🤢

Also, when I was about 13 or 14, a man driving out of my school's parking lot told me to go ahead and cross in front of him, only to hit me with his car on purpose when I did, and then feigned ignorance.. it was so unbelievable and ridiculous, I'm sure the people I've told about it all think I'm lying or exaggerating. But it happened.

I was the only under 18 Red Cross volunteer in my part of the state for four years straight. We had some kids help out during smoke alarm installations and blood drives, but they never registered. It's a shame because we no longer have anyone in our youth program.

I don't trust people driving down the road. A lot of them where I'm from, and I'm beginning to think it's all of California that's like this, don't use their turn signal, don't stop at the stop sign, will run a yellow light. There was one time time when someone ran a red light just as I was about to cross the street.

When I was about 16 years old and in high school I entered a contest to meet the Jonas Brothers and won. It's the one time I've ever won anything irl lol. Even a teacher at my school told me she didn't believe that it had happened so I showed her the pictures. She really wanted me to be wrong I think cause I was a dork lmao.

Getting up from a chair can be dangerous.

I posted a picture in the "what are you happy about" thread of my bandaged lobster hand. I had joint fusion surgery on Friday as a result of getting out of an armchair almost 2 years ago.

I was literally in elementary school at the time, so the details are a little foggy, which means take this with a grain of salt and etc. But when I was a child, I wrote an essay that ended up getting published in a magazine. But someone--my teacher, someone in the school administration, I don't recall--filed my name and all relevant details about me off and then submitted it, so I received none of the recognition or accomplishment for it. At the time, I had an extremely one-track mind so when it came to my attention that someone put my school work into a magazine without my permission, my initial reaction was just "Heh, that's interesting. Can I go play Pokémon now?" But later, I would come to think something more like, "Wow, that's kind of messed up!"

i was driving somewhere with my mom and on one of those little electric signs i swear i saw "the devil waits for you" or something like that, i think it was more profound than that and my mom was driving so she didn't look up in time to see that still makes me nervous and i stare at that sign every time we drive by it now expecting another creepy text to roll across

i think i saw a robot or a cryptid of some kind once? we were on a roadtrip and on some barn roof there was something dancing? i thought it was a guy maybe but it didnt move human at all (like its elbows and knees bent like a robots would and it was too bouncy its hard to describe) and it was a barn in the middle of nowhere.

On the morning of our wedding day, my then husband-to-be said, in a frantic voice on the phone,

"I CAN'T FIND MY PANTS!"

I was like, what, are you kidding me!? He wasn't kidding. He never found his pants.

Thank goodness his jacket was a dark colour, so he just wore a pair of his other pants that he usually went to the office in. We figured he must have left the pants in the photo studio (we had pictures taken two weeks before) and he simply never realized it. :ROFLMAO:

No, he just got the order of events wrong. He's supposed to cry that after the wedding. Easy mistake.

I almost ran over an otter with my car.

Was driving home with my mom riding shotgun and it was pouring rain. We came up to the bridge that’s just a short distance from our house, and sitting in the middle of it was an otter: plain as day. I managed to stop just in time, and the little guy just sat there a few seconds and stared at us.

My brain was stuck in a loop of, “holy crap, that’s an otter. I didn’t know wild otters lived here!” By the time I scrambled for my phone to take a picture of him, he had scurried to the side of the bridge and jumped into the water. This was before I had a dash cam too, so I have absolutely zero proof that this ever happened to me.

Haven’t seen an otter on that bridge before or since, but I know they’re out there. 🦦

Every once in a while I’m almost “psychic”.
I’ll say an extremely specific circumstance will happen and it will!

For instance, I was once fighting with an Ex about seeing my birth mother back when I was trying to get to know her. I told him “the only way we’re not visiting her is if you get extremely sick AND her car breaks down!” Low and behold he got a serious case of food poisoning the next day, and my birth mother called to tell me she couldn’t visit because she couldn’t get her car to start!

One time at work, my coworkers were looking for a set of keys, I had just walked in the door, with no prior knowledge of the situation. I turned to one of my coworkers and said “Whatever you’re looking for, it’s in your pocket.” Bewildered, he reaches into his pocket to pull out the set of pharmacy keys they were panicking over. Half of my coworkers are convinced I’m a witch or something!

The logical part of my brain tells me this can't be true but I swear that a really big dead tree in my childhood backyard shifted positions ever so slightly. I called this tree the "V tree" because it had two prominent branches that spread out in a V shape. I recalled seeing it from my backyard and the V shape being straight on. But I think after a year or so, and maybe a couple of months before I moved out of that house, the V shifted to be on a bias.

That tree haunted my dreams for several years.

In the 6th grade, me and my classmates were walking back from gym when suddenly--
A bat flew right over us, in the middle of the day! I was one of the victims of getting real close to it as well. Made it's nest and hung right by the entrance to the main building. Everyone was screaming and running away and it was kind of funny to watch. I personally thought it was cool.
this was in an area where we never saw bats. ever.

The bat, of course, is no longer there. ;v;
