No one in campsite yet. Bad placing?

I have had my campsite for over 2 weeks now. Now i did reset and in my old town i had a campsite, but i thought someone had already visited me by now.

I dont know if its cause its in a bad place or normal, but i have it in front of some trees next to my river. Thought it would be a nice place but so far nothing. I dont know if there is. Such thing as bad placement for this or what. Is this normal?

I dont like to time travel because even though i follow directions, i somehow screw up and someone moves out and someone else plops down where i dont want them, so i dont want to time travel to find out if somene will come or not

I don't think the placement of the campsite effects whether there are campers or not. It should decide whether or not there's a camper when you load up a saved file.

If you wanted to try resetting for different campers, you could begin a new day (starting at 6am) by creating a new villager. If there's not a camper or you don't like who showed up, you can just quit out and start a new file again. Then save the file if you find someone you want to move in.

its jsut complety random there was one time in 1 month i dint had a camper

placement doesn't affect it at all, campers are totally random

just be patient, one will show up eventually! sometimes it seems to take forever, but it'll happen sooner or later.

The placement of the campsite certainly doesn't affect when villagers come to it. The campsite is kind of like a hit and miss, some weeks you'll have a ton of villagers camping and some weeks you may not. The game can take rather long to produce a camper, especially when you've first put the campsite down but eventually in time you'll get one. Just be patient, it's not always guaranteed that the campsite will follow a pattern of when somebody's camping and when somebody's not. Either way good luck!

Oh ok, thanks everyone. I was wonderig if i made a mistake. I didnt know about the new player thing though. I knew u could do that for plot resetting but not e campsite. Thanks. I might try that out some time.

Did you have the dedication ceremony for your campsite?If I'm not mistaken you're guaranteed to get a camper the day after the dedication ceremony.I'm not sure if this only works immediately after your campsite is built or if you can still do it after the two weeks since the project has been completed.

How many side characters do you have? Some people will do campsite resetting by creating a new side character, checking the campsite, and then resetting if no one they want is there. That way they don't have to time travel, because the game hasn't saved yet. They just keep creating a new character, riding the train and running to check the campsite. When you finally get someone you like, then you would finish creating the side character. You have to start this with the first play of the game for the day though. Once you load the game with an existing character, the campsite is saved and fixed for the day.

Im sure theres no such thing as bad placement but i think the show up less often if you have 10 villagers if you have 9 and want someone in campsite try campsite resseting maybe you get someone you want c:
