No museum shop

I know that to get the museum shop you have to at least donate 20 things, from each category (also undersea fish thingies) and then talk to blathers. I've done all that, it's been many days (I've TTed) but he never suggests it.. Am I doing something wrong??

have you talked to him every day for 2 weeks? someone recommended me that a while ago.
