They started the demos around November 2009, then they rid them in 31st January 2010.
Luckily, I still have all of these demos, and you cannot re-download them no matter if originally downloaded it or not, unlike Metroid Prime 3 Preview Channel.

I don't get why they're stopping it. If people can try games first, they're more apt to buy them. That's already happened to me with three STEAM demos. Just a poor business move on Nintendo's part.
