I had just gotten my items held since I was ready to reset. They're safe. I was working on getting my villagers out for keeping. Then when I started to save, my DS turned off. My file was corrupted and nowhere to be found. I am absolutely gutted. Diana, who I cycled 16 to get back, gone. Marshal, who I loved dearly, gone. Felicity, my best cat and peppy, gone. Molly, who I really really liked, gone. And most of all, Fauna. My precious Fauna.

I guess it can only get better, so I'm trying to find the perfect map with the perfect villagers. I'd really appreciate any help I can get to help get my villagers back :c

ah i just realized, i keep my 3DS charged overnight since the darned charger is not working, you could have easily recharged it too to avoid this.

especially when the system gives you quite literal flashing lights I'M ABOUT TO DIE indication when its soon to happen

I'm not stupid, my charger wouldn't flipping work.

So when I grabbed my brother's charger it was too late. Also, I had left the game afflicted so I had no clue whether it was dead or not.

Maybe I should start rudely questioning you about how you play the game, hm?

maybe next time save every few mins, but certainly when the red light is flashing just forget about the process of the last few minutes/hours and try to repeat them.

Yea sure, as long as when she is in boxes I don't have to wait around for an insanely long period of time. Usually I'm really impatient about it and only give ppl 30 mins to pick up, but in your case I'll gladly wait a lot longer

If you have a problem with the charger you got with the system, I would call Nintendo for a replacement charger. (not sure if it's a Nintendo brand charger, if it's a 3rd party, then that's your problem right there)

Wow, why the harsh comments ? Everyone makes mistakes, you learn from them and move on.
It's a game at the end of the day, not real villagers or real money so whats wrong in just helping someone else out.
Avalon I cycle through villagers from time to time and if I find fauna she is all yours ok

I'm so sorry, Avalon, and as I cycle I'll also keep an eye out for your dreamies.

I am glad, tho, that at least your stuff was safe. That would be much harder to replace, especially for cataloging purposes, than getting your villagers back.

Still, I have a few dreamies that feel out of my reach forever. I really feel your pain on that.

And I agree that some comments here are too harsh, but most are supportive.
