Then it'd be even easier to sneakily play Nintendo games in class lol

I'm not at all interested in Nintendo's smartphone games
My phone isn't brilliant and I don't intend to purchase a new super fast smartphone just for Nintendo games when I have a Wii U and a 3DS.
But I'm sure there are people who are more than happy to play on smartphone.

Sure, in the west. They're pretty big in Japan, hence the weird movement of a lot of game devs over there...Level 5 for example, Fantasy Life 2 will be mobile. I suspect the Prof. Layton series will go that way too.

Thing is, Nintendo do a lot of casual games, and mobile devices have the absolute largest market for casual gaming - that's the same for the west too. Nintendo are more than capable of entering that market.

Way I see it, we should expect more games from them optimised for mobile, potentially with streaming devices for TV, akin to stuff like what Ouya wanted to be and Steam Link also (except that's for PC games). Ouya's problem was coming out to an essentially dormant market, but Nintendo is huge - they could probably make the shift and bring people with it - new customers and old.

We still don't know much about their next console, but to me it sounds a lot like that!

The Trio has risen and they're about to claim world domination and take over Pufftop! And as such, they've set up a plan: trick the Squirts into turning against their friends, kidnap Starly, and rule the world with an iron fist or 3! They first break into Starfy's room, telling him they've got his beloved sister. Starfy and his friends have to save the world, but first they learn some important lessons.

A new way to 100% the game!

You have to collect one Red Pearl hidden in each of the 10 stages in each world! Collect them all and two new worlds open up for you!

The Enigma Zone [Boss: Old Man Lobber, a kindly old sage]

The music player and gacha machine are obtainable from the beginning! The music player adds one new song the first time you hear it, and the gacha machine allows you to obtain one world's set of enemies per world, and only those few worlds, until you have every one of them.

And most importantly, no microtransactions!

I think nintendo should seriously stick to their own consoles, and NOT try to venture into mobile gaming, its a VERY harsh market.
