There where actually any around here >_< I think New Jersey is a barren wasteland in terms of Nintendo Zones.

Does anyone else have troubles with their locations?

Yup.. I'm in Chicago that means no Nintendo zones... I think those only happen in Japan.

Hey, there are lot's of Nintendo Zones all around Canada!

We got McDonalds, Best Buy, and so much more! We got Nintendo Zones everywhere!

Until their IT dept. fixes this SSID hack- I don't see a reason to visit a Nintendo Zone location. Keybug, try the instructions in my DLC thread on my sig; all you need is a smartphone or access to your home router. If you have any questions, just ask! Good luck!

There's a few Nintendo Zone locations just a few minutes away from me, which is nice, I guess.

Apart from the exclusive DLC thing, I've never really had a use for them outside of being able to connect to the internet for free at airports, though.

I live in Ireland and there aren't any Nintendo zones in the nearest town which really sucks. :/

i'm in chicago too and according to the website there's a few. but not all of them are right. it lists the starbucks near me as one. and it isn't. i know cause i work there. lol
it also says the mcdonalds near me is but i haven't tried it yet. too busy working two jobs to go somewhere to download dlc's

WHERE?? I have tried different BestBuy's and the guys I talk to all look at me like I'm nuts...

I went to the one in Grapevine and they didn't have it. So we went to another store, but I can't remember which city. Somewhere in North Texas. We went inside. I tried multiple times to get the item from the Nintendo Zone App. We had to call a guy over who had no idea how. Then we had to call the manager, and they didn't know how. Finally, we called the best game geek in the store and he didn't know how. By then it had been an hour and we were getting ready to leave from being annoyed so much. I told them to wait and I tried something else. I entered the best buy wifi connection on my 3DS. Then I went inside the game and to the post office. I got the item, saved, and logged off. The whole store changed the directions on how to get DLC items just because I figured it out. Yeah, that's how smart I am. Anyone want to judge me now? Didn't think so.

EDIT: So basically, go to a store where there's a physical Nintendo Zone electronic thing in the video game area. Then ask them to provide you with the store wifi code, which the AC:NL site conveniently left that part out. Then you'll be able to get it at the post office. And the store locator is messed up too.

@Ben NYC and Keybug: Nintendo zones work. There's no need to use your phone for it, UNLESS you don't have any nintendo zones in your area. You're lucky if that works. The nintendo zone app doesn't work for me, even when I'm at the Nintendo zone.

I've managed only Best Buy and setting up a Homepass thing with my router.
The first was annoying because I still had the Best Buy wifi information in my 3DS after recently doing a System Transfer there.. lol Just watch that there's not a NON Nintendo Zone within range that you will connect to, as they seem to take priority.
The second was confusing as can be until I finally got it to just work. -_- Now it doesn't seem so bad.

It's not quite that difficult. :| The Best Buy I go to I just walked in, stood near the demo unit (I like looking at the games :) ) and then went to the Post Office in game and asked for a gift. You shouldn't have to actually do all that unless they didn't properly configure the Nintendo Zone. If the NZ icon is flashing on your 3DS you're good to go.

The only Nintendo Zone in my area is around 5 or 6 counties away. Even if I didn't have a huge fear of driving I wouldn't waste the time or gas money to go out there.

If Nintendo is going to do something like this they should do it in more than just a couple of stores. In fact they really should just stop doing this and send things over everyone's internet connection, not some special one you have to hunt down. They don't expect this kind of thing on their home consoles, right? |:<

I walk around a lot of places in my town, I might open up my 3DS for a second and I'll get a Nintendo Zone appear, there are loads around here. I might go to a restaurant and I'll get one too. I'd say it's probably because it's fairly busy here that's why we have so many. nwn

I'm in chicago and I can find Nintendo Zones at many locations.

It's a streetpass at the Nintendo zones. If they just sent that to your house... There would be no point at all to the "street" part.
