Just wondering where my fellow Canadians go to connect to a Nintendo Zone... there used to be a page on Nintendo's website where you could search by city, postal code, etc. and get exact locations, but now they just say Best Buy and Future Shop, and to call and make sure they have one.

Today I went to McDonald's, Future Shop, and Best Buy, and none of them had Nintendo Zones. When I asked, they had no idea what I was talking about. I live in a fairly major city, so it's not like I'm in the middle of nowhere. The only other place I can think of is the airport (which is two hours away from me and probably only once you've passed security).

If you live in Canada, where do you go to connect to a Nintendo Zone?

I'm from Canada and I encounter this issue since December 2014 from former Nintendo Zone hotspots, such as McDonald's. I think that the Nintendo Zone server stopped caring about certain SSIDs that were previously functional, and those affected places didn't bothered to change the SSID accordingly.

Or there's always HomePass if you're very desperate for even more StreetPass tags.

I'm from Canada, and I would pretty much have to travel 2hrs by car to get to a nintendo zone, if it's even still there. I feel that it is unfair in a way.

Is there any way to still search for a Nintendo Zone near you? I don't really feel confident enough to mess around with my router (and all of the ones I've seen seem to be US only?), but at the same time I don't feel like going to every single McDonald's, Future Shop, and Best Buy in the city. Unless someone can share a noob guide to HomePass. ;)

I had the same problem recently. I went to the only Nintendo Zone that is in my area and 2 times they didn't even know what it was. When I called in they said that they had to wait for nintendo to approve or something like that. Thank goodness there are site like this where you can find items that are given out via nintendo zone. But the street passes are horrible now. I haven't gotten a street pass in months.

I usually go to McDonalds or Best Buy for a nintendo zone, I usually only go to this 1 McDonalds that's close to where I live and it has a nintendo zone, I once found a Nintendo Zone locator on Nintendo's website when the first acnl items were released, but I haven't looked since

Hello Fellow Canadian! mcdonalds have not properly worked since october 2014. Best Buy future shop and Home depot work great for me! No problems whatsoever, best buy used to not work but then they fixed it, I suggest you try during this weekend's streetpass event.

do you live in a town or a city, towns are hard to get streetpass in, I live in a city but its not a huge city, nintendo zones get streetpass though, also try going to malls if you have one.

Ooooh, I thought Home Depot was only for Americans! I'll have to try it this weekend. As for town vs. city, I live in one of the biggest cities in Canada, so that's not an issue. ^^
