For the past hour I?ve been trying to move a cranky into my charming little village only to be traumatised by these horrific monsters. What were you thinking Nintendo?? Was it being your kids to work day when these magnificent designs were thought up? Who?s responsible for these abominations? XD

Oh and I looked at some more cranky villagers, here are the ones that I think are slightly normal, and not just freaky monsters (look at picture above)-

-Kabuki (I guess?)
-O'hare (But got changed to Smug in the New Leaf version)
-Rooney
-Tom
-Wolfgang

Animal Crossing is for all peeps! Not everyone wants super cutesy-wootsy frilly animals in their town, and not everyone likes them either. I love my adorable little monsters, I think they're great! Rizzo's awesome, once you get to know him! And who could hate Gaston, he has one of the best and saddest houses in the game! I never had Wart Jr. or Croque, but they're pretty old school, like gamecube AC old. Anyways, it's cool if you don't like 'em, but I don't think they should be gotten rid of just cause they're not cute.
There's plenty of cute crankies out there, you can always choose one of them (cute in my opinion, anyway...idk you'll think they're cute):

Just the clarify, this was joke. Everybody is entitled to their own opinions on the villagers appearances. I just find myself wondering what the fig some of the times. XD

honestly, there are some uggy cranky villagers but i dont think any of the ones you chose were THAT bad lol (im lookin at limberg and harry.......those dudes make me hurt inside), like i love croque and rizzo and gastons probably charming BECAUSE hes ugly lol

I have Butch in my town and he's a cute little cranky pup. But every villager has someone who adores them. Gaston was one of my originals. I didn't mind him, he seemed like the wise old man.

Exactly, I got static in my current town as a starter, and I really like him! BTU wart junior can just go! (I also like fang and Rocco I guess)

I currently have Camofrog in my main town and I love him, just wish that in his pic he wasn't so angry looking.

In my second town I have Static and Gruff who I both like.

I actually like how every character is different and not all cutesy, I personally think it would be quite boring if they were.

I used to have Gaston a long while ago, I remember his house freaked me out the first time I went in (mainly because of KK Dirge) but he grew on me, I actually think he's pretty cute when he smiles (like when you sit down next to him on a bench) and also I'm partial to rabbits sooo lol I only let him move cause I wanted to have new animals come in. (Does anyone else get that feeling? when you've had the same 9 or 10 animals for forever and you want a new change?)

I'm envious of people who have had Fang or Static or even any of the frogs, there's SO MANY ANIMALS that I feel like I've only been exposed to like 1/10000 of them.

Camofrog's pic is hilarious.All the other frogs are happy and smiling but Camo looks like Sean Penn confronting the paparazzi.

Not all Cranky villagers are bad but the one's you described aren't the best.

Chief, Wolfgang, Lobo, Octavian and Buzz are all pretty cool
