Nintendo makes a sequel to a forgotten series: which series gets the sequel?

To be fair, these series either haven't been updated in a long time or aren't getting any attention and haven't for a while.

i would like a Mother but i dont see that happening so i voted on likelyhood, as we are over do for a new F-Zero. as For Star Fox we already know we are getting a new one of thoses he Said so at a E3 interview but did not give a date.

Mother does indeed have a sequel, a light game named "Earthbound"(Or mother 2) and a dark game called Mother 3.

To be honest, I would like to see a Mario game that is more around the lines of Super Mario Bros. 2 (USA). As that concept really hasn't been used in quite a long time. And Toad Treasure Tracker doesn't count.

Star Fox for Wii U has been confirmed! That would have been my choice.

You have Wave Race up there but no 1080, I'd like to see a new installment of that! Also Balloon Fight, Ice Climbers, or Wrecking Crew.

huge Fan of the game i was one of the 1st Members of the Advance Wars Thread on The Old Nintendo Forums . We would make up Fake CO's with powers and Rate them in terms of usefulness we would post our times in War room . I still play AWDS to this day have over 900 hours on it.

I would have to say F-Zero since we are already getting new Star Fox game for Wii U and I highly doubt we'll ever see another Mother or Wave Race game, since Itoi already said he has no interest in making another game (Which I can see why after the Mother 3 incident...) and I bet Nintendo has long forgotten the Wave Race franchise.

I agree, I don't see why they are refusing to port over Mother 3 when Starmen.net was willing to give them their fan translation. I'd be really shocked if they decided to release it on Wii U Virtual Console.

Well, according to what I want to see, a new Mother/Earthbound. Unfortunately, Itoi himself says he has no interest in making another game, so according to likeliness, then...F-Zero, since seeing as Starfox is getting a new game, then it's so obvious that F-Zero is next from the 4th gen to get a new game.
