Nintendo eShop Download Help

I bought Pokemon Y from the Nintendo eshop about two hours ago. I waited about one hour, then the download got stuck on 68%. I stopped it and restarted it, this time doing download now instead of later. I did this about 30 minutes ago and it still has barely moved. Am I being impatient, is my internet messing up, or my game download messed up? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I believe it's your internet. Try the download later option and see if that works, otherwise, try another Wi-Fi access point, like a Nintendo Zone, which always has reliable Wi-Fi.

Oh ok. Well, it's going on 10 PM where I am, so I can't really get out right now. I wanna have it before tomorrow, as I am going out of town and would like it for the trip. Although, it is up to near 1/4 or 1/3 now.

I typically do this with "large-ish" downloads. For some reason my downloads like to slow to a crawl around 50% so I hit download later when that happens and leave it alone for 30~ mins. Usually done by then.

Do you use sleepmode or regular? Try sleepmode for larger stuff, worked better when I had Bravely.

I always use sleep mode.

I remember when I was downloading ACNL, the last 4%s took FOREVER...

Yeah it works better for larger games.
