Night Owl Ordinance

Just wondering how do people cope without having the Night Owl Ordinance, as ive just reset my game, i totally forgot, and i go to the Ables, and realise its shut and its only 9PM :O im so used now to shops being open until 11pm/12am and being able to go to Retail at 1am, its crazy i dont think i could never not have it now.. apart from when i start back at college obviously

I know it crazy how early they close, but I also like the beautiful one because I do a lot of TTing, which i'm trying to stop doing.

I had Night Owl for awhile. But I'm starting up college soon, so I changed it to Beautiful Town because I'm tired of watering every single flower.

I would love to have beautiful, but I have night owl. I usually play at night, and I really hate how stores close so early. u_u i wonder if anyone actually has early bird though

I do miss night owl... But I also like money. It would be nice if re-tail was open till after midnight, but that's the sacrifice. I make sure I get everything done early and if I can't return from my daily bug hunting trip to the island before they close, I just leave everything I caught in the box till the morning. I rarely do more than one bug trip, so this is fine.

I have the beautiful town, so if my store are closed, I just tt by a couple of hours. No harm done and everyone is happy (especially the flowers!).

I'm seriously considering switching to early bird. I wake up at 6am and there's nothing to do for hours but pester Tia.

depends on people play style do you want to water flowers, earn more bells, play late (best if you go home late) i never wake up early xD

I know it crazy how early they close, but I also like the beautiful one because I do a lot of TTing, which i'm trying to stop doing.

I'm gonna keep you in the group, but hopefully you quit. Not that it's a bad thing, but you know...It kind of defeats the purpose of the group.


On topic: I've never even considered switching off the night owl ordinance. I stay up really late, and most of my 3DS friends do as well, so it's a lot easier to enjoy having people visit when shops are open so late.

I'm so glad I chose night owl! *o*
I take a long time on the island at night, so I'm glad that even if I take forever, that the shops will still be open to sell my beetles!

One of my friends had early bird...I was kind of envious of her because early in the morning I'd have nothing to do and all of her stuff was open. But you can't beat night owl for late night bug runs!

Yes- it's supposed to make the villagers stay out socializing later into the night! I thought that was kind of cool.


I used to TT since I don't get home until around 6:30 and by the time I cook dinner etc., and any other stuff I need to get done during the evening... I sometimes would have a bit of a panic when I saw it's like 7:45 and I wasn't even close to being able to sit down and play Animal Crossing for a bit!

The thing is I can usually play late at night OR super early in the morning - before work! XD So I wasn't sure what to pick!! Night Owl or Early Bird ordinance?!

But it's more likely that I can play at night so I went with Night Owl - and I love it! - plus you can go bug hunting on the island and then still come back and sell your beetles etc.! Win.

I had night owl but then I changed to beautiful town, and this not having to water my fields and fields of flowers is so nice! I wish I could have both, but if I have to pick one, I'm gonna stick with beautiful.

exactly what I do, infact I mostly play at night, so I tend to TT a few hours to keep the stores open all night. LOL

I heard they complain their butts off if you have Early Bird or Night Owl.

They do a lot of, "At first I thought the Night Owl Ordinance was tyrannical, but now... [insert approval]," but I've yet to have them complain. I enjoy the Night Owl, I sometimes forget to water the plants, but with the golden watering can, it's not that much of a hassle to water them.
