Does anyone have any information on when the next update will be and what it may contain?
I love this game and can’t wait to see what new things they will put in/things they will reintroduce.

Once again, I foolishly expected some good news when I clicked on the thread. Anyway, most of us speculate that it won’t show up any time before July since the wedding event ends June 30.

if they're gonna make a new update at the start of july i sure hope it's worth the wait
some needed QOL changes or a villager overhaul/update is what the game DESPERATELY needs, along with more content

I fully expect an update at some point in July. Fireworks festivals seem to be a given. They've been a staple of every game, even Wild World, that it wouldn't be the same without one.

Idk, it seems they removed quite a few staples of the games.

Eugene did mention fireworks today, if those time where villagers mentioned the museum expansion before the Lief/Redd update says anything, it could be hinting at a future event. I think we are getting an update next month at some point either way.

Nothing to back it, but I hope we get another upgrade to the shop. There traditionally have been, what, 4 stages to Nook's? (Though we skipped the convenience store stage this time)
The footprint of the store is pretty big, relative to the walls of the building model - there's that big deck underneath, and I can't path right up to the door like with Abel's. I'm curious if these things are intentional.
It would also be a good opportunity to add new items. Like a lot of them, in regular rotation (and I mean a lot please Nintendo OMG we need more furniture).

I'm hoping this coming Tuesday (empty announcement day as of now), but most likely it'll probably be the following week as that's when the wedding stuff ends. Interesting thing to note is that this Tuesday will be almost exactly 2 months since the previous update. Considering Nook's Cranny had to have been built for 30 days previously to upgrade, it's not crazy to think the next upgrade would take 60 days.

I haven't seen any TT-ers or dataminers report it, so I don't think it's in-game right now. There's plenty of info out there about seasonal items and DIYs.

It's not in the game yet, I just meant it might come with the next update lol. It's around the time frame where a 2nd upgrade to the store wouldn't be too crazy anymore.

I read somewhere that there was a leak about farming and cooking on acnh?? not sure if that's true though haha
