new villager move in schedule in the first part of the game

do villagers move in every other day (waiting for the new person to get out of boxes before plotting), or can someone plot on the same day someone else is in boxes (every day in a row)?

I believe it's every other day (so the villager has to be out of boxes before the new plot) in the first part of the game.

First Day - 5 villagers
Second Day - 100% chance of a villager - it will be any other personality you do not have as the first 5

Then after that until you reach 9 there is an increasing chance every day.

You can plot reset to get who you want if they are a personality you don?t have.

9th villager is random personality type.
