[New Town] Well.. it is official!

Starting hopefully tonight, assuming RNG decides to be nice to me and not take hours upon hours to get a good town lay out (let's be honest, it will), my new town shall be started! I'm not particularly sticking with a theme for this town and I decided I'm going to have villager species I normally don't have in my towns, barring wolf villagers, because I can't stay "No!" to them.

Oh, and for those who might be wondering and remember some previous threads I created.. I decided on a name. The names I did get suggestions for were fantastic, but in the end I wanted something I created on my own. I did think of a name, however... and for once it isn't Pokemon city/town related!

This town's name shall be Laelia. It's a flower species of the Orchid variety.

Good luck with yours as well! And thanks, outside of the wolf villagers, the others are species I normally never have in my towns. Although I've had Erik and Phoebe a few times.

I do really like the name.
If you haven?t found the right one already, maybe you can pick the town map first and then reset until you get the map you want with good building placements?
This picture should have all possible maps.
It would have probably made things easier for me when i started my town if I had had that picture.

I always watch YouTube when I’m doing any monotonous work on my towns, haha. Hopefully you’ve found a perfect layout for you! I love the town name, it makes me imagine the color purple; which from what I can see from a short google search, many of the orchids are pink/purple. Funny how that works. ^~^

I'm thinking about deleting my game.
I've almost had enough of it.

Today, I got excited and wanted to make a new character.

Nook wouldn't let me build a house that had 20 spaces to the right, 12 behind, 10 to the left, and miles in front.

Not near anything, yet he kept saying it was too close to the event plaza.

The event plaza was 20 spaces to the right, and villagers have had no problems plotting there either.

There's nothing to look forward to anymore.

I THINK there are spechial requirements for houses near the plaza or the train station.
But I would take into consideration how many hours you put into your town before resetting. My current town is still my first one and I would definitely get another copy of the game on some second hand site if I wanted to start new...I couldnt bring myself to delete my town...
