new leaf surprises?

hello!

i was playing new leaf just now when i encountered a tarantula. i had never seen one of them before, neither did i know they were rare, but i tried to catch it anyway. as always, it got angry as soon as i pulled out my net and bit me. i got really shocked when i fainted because i didn't know this could happen, even though i have played for a long time.

that being said, have you gotten surpised by anything in game?​

It happens with the scorpion as well. I remember the first time it happened to me in WW I got really scared cause I was little and didn't want to play at night anymore lol. I've already caught one, so I tend to ignore them now.

I had been playing for over a year, and went into a dream. I picked up a famous mushroom and ate it. I didn't know they made you grow. It really surprised me.

I was really (happily) surprised when Beardo showed up at my house unannounced. I was also surprised when I caught a shark on the island, and when I first found out about all the rare beetles. Ooh, and the K.K. Slider concerts are always a surprise (not because I don't know when they are, but I do like letting K.K. play whatever he wants and finding new favorite songs)

When Croque appeared in my museum one day. I had no idea villagers would reappear on main street/museum. I was really glad to see Doc reappear.
I also when Rodney parked his ugly ass right in front of my retail. I was unhappy.

TBH Rodney looks so drunk, and the fact that he hits on people is just so creepy.

Lol. I love Rodney. He does remind me of a drunk, though.

i also got surprised the first time a non-uchi villager told me to "get better and eat some medecine" without giving it to me. i felt so ripped off...

i'm so lucky. i was walking around, holding my net, and guess what i run into? ANOTHER TARANTULA. i got away though.
