New Islands 2025: Anyone Starting / Restarting?

My original first Island which I started in 2021, will never be reset. But because I have so many theme ideas I wanna try out, I have been using my friend's switch to do other islands, so once one is completed I do plan to reset and make other ideas. (Making a dream address first before I rese tof course, so I can travel to them when I want!)
So, yeah, despite the ne switch being confirmed and whatever happens in April direct, I still got ideas that will work for this specific game, an island base~

I'm thinking about restarting..
I love my island, the villagers, and how it's turned out.
The problem is I can't terraform for crap.
I'm currently trying to work on it, but it's hard
I don't really wanna restart..

Yes! I'm very late to the party on getting a Switch and this game, my island will be a week old tomorrow. It feels a little weird being here so late (especially since I have been a fan of the series for a good portion of my life) but I am enjoying myself so far and I'm thinking about what I want to do with my island.

Terraformimg is a somewhat intimidating idea to me but I'm starting to try and visualise what I want to do with layout when it unlocks.

It's been really lovely discovering a "new" Animal Crossing game again!
