My second favorite part of the new update is seeing tourists visit my town. I also love that you can set up little outfits for them, and if they are previous residents then they'll remember you! Avalar now truly feels like the resort town it was always meant to be.

this new snapgrid feature finally giving the l button an actual use is gonna be the absolute mvp for terraforming, harvesting, and just any sort of general items etc cleanup without interfering with unintended things. I can feel it

though I do wish there was a way to rotate your character while in this mode without just manually exiting out and readjusting, but that's a rather minor complaint for how big a quality of life improvement this is otherwise

First Entry

I love the new hotel exclusive items that can be bought at the hotel! So nice to have new items and we can use these items to make our own hotel!

My first entry!

So there's a lot of new stuff in 3.0, but I think the one thing that made me so happy was how they didn't gut the megaphone experience. New Horizon has (to me) been known to cut content and when it comes back it pales in comparison to how it used to be. We can't work for Brewster anymore, the villager's don't react to the beans being tossed on them, no multiplayer.

But here we have the megaphone finally making its return! And it is just how it used to be. And I love it for that. You can call any npc and they will respond if they are outside. And if their friendship is low or they're a guest from the hotel they'll act like they don't know where to look and if they have high friendship they will wave gleefully. It's so cute!

And my favorite part. If you use it right in front of them they will get upset or angry and give some of the funniest dialogue. This feels so much like NL and the earlier lines that I've been missing. And it made me the giddiest hehe. I know I'm awful. I spent the whole evening screaming at everyone

There are many things I like about that update but first: More storage! Look at that mess! I'm a hoarder, I'm afraid. And I also like that I can finally put my hybrids in that storage.

My Fav part of the update would probably be Mr. Reseti. Not only is he one of my fav characters in animal crossing, but he is also going to be super useful. To bad you cant hire hire him to yell at you for resetting, but at least you can even see him!

(also shout out to all of the Splatoon gear, I would make that my entry, but its all coming tomorrow, and I am not time traveling)

Second Entry

My second favorite part of the New Horizons 3.0 Update is all the new furniture! There isn't as much new furniture as I was hoping for but it's a welcome addition nonetheless. I think the Artful series might be my favorite!

I haven’t been playing it that long; so far I just scanned my amiibos at campsite and at Harv’s studio, ordered some of the items and I just finished my first hotel room. It has been a long time since I played ACNH so it was really nice and fun to decorate again; also reminded me how much I enjoyed decorating. Right now, decorating the hotel room is my favorite thing so far of the update.

Here is my first room! I decided to do my own thing rather than stick with the theme; I may edit it later since I have some mixed feelings on my design. I was trying to go for a pirate theme.

My favorite part of 3.0 is the new items- especially the crossover items and cat plushies! The cat plushies especially. Those things are so cute!

I'm delighted to be able to store the flowers in my storage at home now! I got all my hybrids through other players because I was impatient. But previously they were all on the beach, it was cluttered and the only solution I found to make sure they don't spread everywhere.

I was so happy to see Resetti walking around my beach today! I missed him yelling at me for constantly restarting in NL when I was trying to get a specific cut log in that game. I was amused to read that he's now rolling with the times in NH.

Being able to lock my position with the L button. I'm currently on a project to flatten out my island and this will immensely help me. I always get into a mini-rage whenever I accidentally build where I don't want to just because my position is slightly off-center.
