New flower picking up?

By this I mean how in old games you didn't have to use a shovel, do you think the new way is better? Or the old days when we just picked the entire plant up?

It’s taking getting used to. I like how I have a lot of flowers but if I ever want to clean up a little it’s going to be annoying.

I'm mixed.

Pros: New flower mechanics allow you to get a bunch of flowers
Cons: Flowers grow uncontrollably and are a pain to get rid of

i don't love how long it takes but i like that they have different stages of growing and you can pick them for different things, so i'll deal lol

I like it better. Don't destroy my flowers accidentally any more and I don't have to worry at all about people coming into town

i miss being able to just pick the plant up - it was so much quicker than having to use a shovel ;u;

It’s nice that you can never truly destroy a flower by running over it - it was so annoying when you’d used to accidentally run over a flower and the whole plant would just disappear
It’s also interesting to see the flowers at different stages of growth!
