new 3ds cover plates

ok so my 3ds xl just broke and if im getting a new 3ds id rather spend a little more on a newer model. the 3ds xl is so bulky and i cant fit it into my pocket, so i wanted to buy the new 3ds. the thing is i cant find the english version of the small new 3ds, the one with cover plates. i can only find the xl versions. does anyone know where i can find the new 3ds small version in english?

I think in NA, they've only been sold as part of a bundle so far, and it may be sold out for now. Not 100% sure since I'm kind of tired.

yeah theyre literally putting the small new 3ds into bundles which is super annoying because i just want the system not the games

You could always re-sell the games, it's not too hard especially since they'll be new condition.

I'm not sure if it's sold out but the Animal Crossing HHD Bundle is still probably your best bet in getting a white new 3DS compared to Pokemon 20th. I still could see a few stocks in Amazon albeit a little higher than the original SRP. If you're fine importing from Play-Asia, the Pokemon 20th is cheaper there compared to when you get from third-party sellers.
