So if I just move a month at a time, which would mean someone woiuld just randomly move away, could someone else drop by my town and get the villager into their's without worrying about the villager having to go into boxes? Because if I could just do that this would be so easy.

I think if you do it by a month there may be a possibility that they won't get them and other villagers will move out too D:
