Alright, so I am guessing this is the right place to post this..

I am working on getting all the "cute" villagers in my town and currently I love ALL my villagers.... except for one.

Now this is what annoys me.

My best friend had Pierce in her town and I NEVER, EVER spoke to Pierce. I do not like the way he looks and his attitude just annoys me, flat out. I push him into pit falls any time I can because I don't like him.

Besides ignoring and abusing him for a week is there a way to get him to move out faster? I really DO NOT like Pierce. I wish he never existed in the game, shame on me. Just I can't stand him! I want him to disappear, forever.

Does anyone else have a villager that they can't stand?

Ignoring doesnt work. I tried it, eventually with a villager that i hated, i treated him like i do all my other villagers and soon after he asked to leave. Thats the only thing i can suggest you do. I'm not sure if this is the proper way to do it, maybe you could get some insight off of other members. D:

Really? One of my favorite youtubers who was doing a ACNL Let's Play type series ignored their villagers for a week and by the following Monday or something, the villager they had that they hated had moved out and that was just through ignoring them and the usual torture techniques.

I don't know. Maybe i wasnt as lucky. I ignored my villager for 2 weeks after he moved in, and only introduced myself. Bad luck i guess .. :c

Ignoring has worked for me before, but at other times it hasn't. I've been really nice to a villager and ignored/pushed around/hit other villagers, and weirdly enough the ones I'm nice to ask to move out. Bizarre AC dynamics.

some people say the introduce and ignore for a week works but some people say otherwise... however I know that hitting them and pushing them into pitfalls makes them stay longer. Someone did a video on youtube about this, i'm sure you could google the video. The best way for me without TTing is to befriend them, crush em with love. I find if i talk to them a lot and fulfill their requests, they're more likely to move out.

Exactly, befriending makes them move very quickly!

Ignoring does work, but since you pushed him around, you've triggered the friendship scale. You have to be nice to him now or else he'll stick around.

For the record, I like Pierce. :3

Sadly, I noticed you've got to become good friends with the villager you want to move out. Even if you don't like him. Trust me, I've had to try it with a lot of my villagers.

Worked on my new town filled to the brim with hideous villagers 100%
Basically: The needed factor.

If we have a dreamie give it a ton of attention and get its picture the game says NO! YOU CANT HAVE IT.
So they shake it up and try to make it move befriending takes up to a month. So that option is very time consuming
Casual talking takes 2-3 weeks to move.
And The MEET AND GREET when an unwanted moves in greet it AND NEVER EVER SPEAK TO IT. EVER.

Beating the villager will put it in the befriending and that'll take 2-3 weeks.
We don't want that we want meet and greet.

So after you greet it IF YOU TRIED to beat it a new character to meet it and greet it will save you.

Now when it pings and is ready to move DO NOT TALK TO IT. Simply run and talk to your villagers to see who is moving now meet and greet takes a WEEK to move.

Because its in UNneeded.

It worked and i have almost all my dreamies with this method.

what i did with flo, after the ignoring method didn't work, was i would go up to her and initiate a conversation, then i would choose the second option (just saying hi or oh, it's nothing). i also abused her cause she's ugly and she deserved it. but i did that after two weeks of ignoring her didn't work. a week after i started conversations with her and choosing the second option she left. might be luck, might be because i was rude to her. give it a try?

I've heard that if the villager is the one who moved in last, it's so much rarer for them to ask to move.

I've had Axel for a couple months now and everyone else has asked to move except for him.

Perhaps the reason why villagers you talk to and are nice to want to move out is...friendliness?

Think about it? They have been friends with you for weeks, you heard everything they had to say, and got them all the gifts they wanted. They want to move, and feel confident enough to mention the fact to their friend, which is you.

Probably reading too much into the game, but I think making friends with them is a better method to move them out.

I had someone I was nice to ask to move in less than a week after them moving in one time. O_O

On the other hand, I've had villagers that have been in my town since June and have never asked to move and I'm nice to them. So... it just really is random.

Aww, I had Pierce in my WW town and he was a sweetie and my first friend. :3
Anyways, like many people have said, its best to befriend the villager to get them out ASAP. :)

ignoring has always worked like a charm for me. after the initial mayor introduction, just completely avoid them like the plague XD my maxed friendship villager still hasn't pinged to move and i've had her for over a month, and had 10 villagers almost constantly.

I want Pierce so badly. That's the clown sheep, right?

Wait that's the eagle. I need to stop getting Pietro and Pierce mixed up.

Yeah I hate Pierce, too.
