Needing some advice...

Hey everyone, so something unfortunate happened and I need some advice on what my next move should be. I created another character in my town to make a house and in the process of upgrading it, I had a bad TT accident and got Francine into boxes. As if one of my dreamies leaving isn't bad enough, it's Francine and I also have Chrissy. The point of having both of them was for them to be together. Their houses were even by eachother and everything. :/

So I have a few options here. I can:
- Get rid of Chrissy too
- Keep Chrissy and just replace Francine with another potential dreamie/villager
- Get rid of another villager (which wouldn't be an issue, because there is another villager who I've been considering getting rid of anyway) and use those two empty slots to cycle through 16 more villagers so I can get Francine back. This would be more time-consuming and would probably risk losing another villager

I honestly have no idea what to do because I'm really mad about this, I was being extremely careful TTing and she never even pinged me. I think I would've been fine with almost anyone else getting into the boxes, but the fact that the villager is part of a pair is really annoying. -_-

Replace francine with another dreamie or get rid of chrissy

Don't do the 16 cycle unless you really really want the villager back. It's hell

Do you really want Francine back? Like, truly? If so, do the 16 villager cycle...but it is extremely time-consuming, and as you already stated, you might wind up losing another dream villager in the process

Do you really want Chrissy? If not, then get rid of her, and replace both her and Francine with two other villagers you like.

Do you really like Chrissy, even without Francine? If so, keep her, and just replace Francine.

What you do next is entirely up to what you want, and who you like.

Just wait until the amiibo update comes out and move her back in then.

I have Chrissy and Francine and know for certain if one moved out, I would get rid of the other too and get two new villagers.... that's just my opinion I guess, but I don't think I would want one without the other.

I would just replace both, because you will watch Chrissy and think "damn at some point I got the pair but not anymore". Unless you really really want Francine back, then do the 16 villager cycle thing, but it gonna take time...a lot of time and work.

Will the update allow villagers to move in without the 16-cycle?

Thank you everyone for the help! I think I'm going to keep Chrissy for the time being until I decide if I want to cycle back for Francine, but I think ultimately I'll end up getting rid of Chrissy too. :/ I hate losing villagers I love.
