You can check how many passes you've had through your gate by going and sitting on your town tree. You have to wait until the very end of all the credits and it will tell you "You've had ___ visitors to your town" You need 100 to get the request. I recently did mine, so if you would like I can come cause I know this struggle. Hope I can help!
