Need help with Algebra. ("/" = over ^ = exponent)

Rational Functions and Expressions

2n^2- 5n -3 / 4n^2 - 12n - 7 multiplied by 2n-7 / 4n + 5
 
I think you have to factor the ones with the exponents in them, and then some of the stuff should cancel out.
 
I know, but I don't know how to factor when there's a number in front of the n^2...

I was absent when they did that lesson.
 
it factors to (2n + 1)(n - 3)

You just figure out out in your head, there's not really a way to do them...
 
I get:

( (2n+1)(n-3) / (2n-7)(2n+1) ) * (2n-7) / (4n+5)

After canceling stuff out, I end up with (n-3) / (4n+5)
