*NEED HELP* Moving Out Villagers (Void questions)

Here are my current villagers:
Kitty-Snooty
Diana-Snooty
Mitzi-Normal
Merry-Peppy
Rosie-Peppy
Punchy-Lazy
Tia-Normal
Fuchsia-Uchi
Merengue-Normal
Olivia-Snooty

Fuchsia was my 10th move in from a void. It is impossible to get rid of her so I have come to terms with the fact that I have to get rid of one of my dreamies and choose two new villagers to fill my town with. Before I start the process, I need to know if I have 10 villagers, and I get one of my other villagers in boxes. If someone comes to my town to pick her up, and they have voided villagers since I have a villager in boxes, can I still pick up a void or from street pass even if I technically have 10 villagers in town? I really really DO NOT want this void thing happening again I just want to know the safest way to move out two villagers and bring two more in that I want. I have a cycling town and I want to try to have villagers ready in boxes to move into my town. Thank you!!! =3

As far as I know, as long as you have 10 villagers, even if one is in boxes, no other villager can move in. Since you're trying to avoid this happening until you get new villagers in, I would suspend all wifi trades and connections until you are done. I'd also turn off wifi/streetpass between your dses just to make sure you don't pick up a void while cycling to get who you want in boxes.

As for moving villagers out of your town to get Fuchsia to move, personally I'd take it day by day until someone pings to move that you are okay with leaving. I've ad to let go of a couple villagers like this to get rid a someone's voided Rod. And although the chance is still very small, Fuchsia might ping after moving out only one person.

I think I will be okay once someone else moves. I'm sure Fuchsia will ping since she will no longer be the most recent..thanks so much for the advice. To be sure, I opted out of spot pass at the home screen is that okay? Anything else I need to do in settings and what not?
