Need help holding a villager

Hopefully this is the right place to post this. I want to start playing ACNL again and I've been meaning to move out Cobb. ZombifiedHorror wants to adopt him but we can't get our towns to connect.

I'm looking for someone (maybe a cycler) who is willing to hold Cobb so ZombifiedHorror can still get him.

If you accept, we should do a connection test first to make sure our towns can connect.

oh is that the "system cannot connect" error? well that happened to me once and we kept trying, then after a few more tries, i was able to connect... bump though!

I get this a lot and I haven't had any luck trying it multiple times with the people it's happened with. It sometimes changes after some time (so I can't connect to people I used to be able to connect with and can connect to people I couldn't) but it's more random and after weeks.

I had this problem,I just deleted there contact and added them again then opened there gate again and it worked.

Look... I assure you I've tried everything and have even contacted Nintendo's costumer support about this sort of error because of how often I get it, I've tried this sort of solution already.

I'm posting because I need help with a specific thing, not because I need to hear advice that odds are I've already researched and tried.

Sorry if that sounds harsh but it gets pretty frustrating to hear tips that I already know about and haven't solved the problem for me.
