Need Advice

Hey all!
I have some large areas of empty space on my island and I don't know what to fill them with. Does anyone have ideas?

Just my 2 cents: Dinosaur park by using your extra fossils, play ground with kiddie stuff, gym area, or a pool with beach towels and chairs laying around?

I made a boardwalk area with some games and an ice cream shop! In another large area I made a marketplace with stalls to hold free DIYs/items for visitors. I also made a library and spa/beach bar area! The possibilities are endless!

hmm some ideas that come to mind are
a fruit orchard/crop area, playground/kiddie area, hot springs, cafe or outdoor gym

Find a picnic blanket design you like online & set it up with lots of cute items! You can choose how big to make the blanket depending how much room you have.

Do something based off a place you visited in real life. Could be a favorite place to go, somewhere you visited as a kid, somewhere you hope to live someday, etc. For example, there is a coffee farm on my island that is based off a real life place I went to a few years ago (Kona Joe Coffee Farm in Hawaii), and I also plan on making a "wildlife center" that is based on a place near my grandma's house I use to visit often as a kid.

I’m not sure how much you’d want to do this but I’d make it into a wilderness! Add trees and bushes everywhere, maybe plant a few weeds and sprinkle flowers here and there and it looks like a little nature reserve! it’s also a good place to set down some of your native fruit trees if you don’t want to include them in your orchard.

I made a stone forest mixing various stone items and statues with cedar trees with walkway entrances guarded by valiant statues on one end and stone lion dogs at the other.

Ooh yea, I put a lot of the garden stones in my wilderness (as well as fall seasonal items)

Could make a restaurant (e.g. fish restaurant incorporating fish models, fast food restaurant...) cafe, playground, gym, juice bar, etc. Also could try nature e.g. mushroom forest or celestial stuff or an art gallery - many possibilities!!

Nice! I've mostly got fake statues and Gulliver items in mine.

hmm with some of my empty areas i made like places to sit and added little ponds nearby. you could even use the fountain!
typically if its a smaller space though ill just fill it with shrubs and flowers and trees and whatnot since my island is pretty woods-y.

Spoiler: what i did for an empty space

i moved bree's house over to this big flat plot of land and plopped down the bench/tree/etc

I filled a portion of my map with a flower garden, another with the teacup ride and some concessions, and a third with a tricycle racetrack.

-A garden
-A cafe
-A zoo
-A terraformed waterfall area

I think having a space available on your island is smart because hopefully in Fall we'll be getting Brewster, possibly! I hate having empty space on my island as I do but I know it's gonna be worth it when I can work around the future updates! <33

Of course, you can always just make room if you'd prefer to do something now! <3
