It might be not bothering for you right now, when you look at them in dream towns and/or your newly placed paths but trust me it'll get old. More you spend time in your town more the natural grass/dirt/stone showing sharp edges and pattern shine will get to you and eventually you'll find yourself looking at natural towns and decide whether remove your hard work or keep no matter what. Just being brutally honest with you, it'll never look natural enough to look perfect. It only comes down to whether you are ok with all these to have a uniquely customized ground. It's a trade off I wouldn't bother personally
I think that the qr grass is better sometimes. I've seen some amazing qr codes that take advantage of it and add great detail to the pattern making it look better than the ordinary acnl grass. Either way both natural and qr grass would work bu I think qr would look even better
I tend to prefer natural grass just because not every tile can be covered with a pattern and i like it better when everything looks seamless. Also, from a functionality standpoint, qr grass can present problems - items disappearing when they drop on them, no new flowers, etc. If you're trying to get started in a town and you're still shaking trees, planting flowers, etc, qr grass is annoying sometimes.
However, if a town is "finished" - no more landscaping, shaking trees, etc, qr grass is pretty cool. I especially love the ones that have little extras like books, flowers, or food. They're both pretty rad.
Not a big fan of QR Grass at all to be honest. What bothers me the most about QR Grass is that
it looks so fake. I mean, sure, there are towns that using this kind of "grass" and it looks not bad
at first. But after a while, it start to look weird the longer you're looking at it? At least that's what
I feel in this case. Besides, I don't using QR codes at all and just prefer a natrual looking town at
this point. But I don't have a problem with people using QR Grass or QR codes at all, it's just not
my thing.
