Since the last time I looked at this thread many days ago, after 135 votes, it appears to be that the data is following the same general trend! Apples still are the most popular/most common native fruit while oranges are currently the least popular/least common native fruit! Cherries, pears, and peaches continue to hold the same positions as well so the poll is getting close (or probably already there) to having a large enough sample size/vote count to be a accurate representation of the TBT community as a whole. The only way we will know for sure though is more votes, let's keep this going everyone!
Yeah, I thought pears would be the least liked, too. I love the golden color of the perfect pears, but if i were to start over, i would pick something else.
Pears are my native, but the only reason I know is because campers tell me |D. I have about an equal amount of each fruit in orchards in my town and I chopped down all the random growing fruit trees forever ago.
For some reason I always get pears on my town, but in my newest town I got cherries for the first time. I like the perfect pears tho, love the golden look they have.
Pears! Though in every town before new leaf, I had apples! I didn?t even know you COULD have a different native fruit when I was a kid because both my brother and I started with apples lmao.
I have apples. Although I'm not sure that any fruit is more rare than the other when you're getting your town, it's just a matter of who goes for what fruit. A LOT of people reset their towns based on little things like the lay out, starting villagers, train station, fruit... I think many people just really like apples. I wouldn't be happy with pears or oranges, I don't find them very cute. That's my opinion. Although I could be wrong about the rarity thing.
Petey Piranha
I don't think there's a rarity also.
The perfect version of the apples really stepped up their appeal for me, it seems to be a fair bit of other peoples' reason too.
