Bumping this to give it more exposure since I would love to see the sample size/vote count increase to solidify the confidence on the data. Since the last time I bumped this, it looks like peaches are more common than previously assumed compared to pears while everything else appears to be relatively the same. Let's keep this going everyone!

Out of my four towns, three have been apples and one has been oranges. I recently restarted in New Leaf again and really, really wanted oranges (as my town is themed after Ehime Japan, which is famous for its mikans) but couldn't stand resetting any more for a perfect layout PLUS the fruit I wanted, so I eventually settled for apples yet again. :/ I mean, I like apples more than, say, pears, but I'm getting quite bored of them after having apples for years in WW as well!

My native fruit is pears, and it was completely random, didn't reset for it.

Mine is pears in my new town! I actually reset just to get them, because I love the golden color of the perfect pears!
I have cherries in my first town before I even knew about the options, and I don?t like the way they look. Especially perfect cherries, I think they look worse that the regular ones (at least for my town theme)

I already voted cherries for my main town of Sakura, but now I also have oranges in my second town of Nocturne. I would have preferred apples, pears, or cherries to blend in better with the color scheme, but I don't plan on having a lot of fruit trees in that town when it's all landscaped anyway so I just took whatever fruit I got.

Cherries are my native fruit >_>, but my map layout was the best I could find after resetting my game about 30-45 times, so I just decided to accept it. I was originally aiming for a town with perfect peaches, but they all had terrible map layouts.

My native fruit was peaches which I was not to happy about becuase I hate peaches IRL. I am fine with my native town fruit being peaches now though!

Mine are pears! I wouldn?t have minded any of the fruits, I had no idea they even existed at first, I thought everyone had the same, I like pears irl so that?s pretty cool! Oranges seem a lot less common, even Dream towns have them less frequently, I?m hoping to get hold of some oranges and cherries one day!
