Native Fruit Poll!

My native fruit is Peaches, which is probably my favourite native fruit apart from cherries. I had to reset loads and loads to get them though, also they're pink and go with my town theme so that might be why I love them so much.

Bumping this thread since it is not quite at the threshold I am looking for to reach the point of confidence with the poll data. With the current indisputable data, apples and cherries continue to be the most popular/most common native fruit in the TBT community which allows them to trade with over 2/3 of the TBT community (for each individual fruit)! The other 3 native fruits are still in a degree of dispute (seen them go back and forth a few times throughout this thread's life) so we have to see! Lets keep this going everyone!

I already voted for my town so it won't let me vote again, but my husband just started his town today and got cherries, same as me. He didn't reset or try for any fruit in particular, so it was just random.

Haha I have peaches in my main town but had no idea people had preferences for fruit and would reset to get the one they liked most! At this point I'm nearing endgame-ish in terms of town goods (have perfect town status, just need to finish up PWPs and home/museum exhibits, plenty ingamebells prob too much to even spend it all on) so I don't even have many normal peach trees since villagers and guests are happier to receive perfect peach baskets than normal peach baskets haha. After seeing others mention they like the color of peaches I might plant more normal peach trees after all though, I do love the color pink and my paths are pink!


In my second town I had apples and I like how shiny perfect apples are but now it's cherries which I don't mind either! Perfect cherries are such a pretty color!

I have pears because I finally found a town-map which was acceptable and was too tired of resetting to try and get apples on top of the acceptable map. I wish it was apples though as they are my favourites

I just reset my main town and instead of apples, I now have pears. I don't mind them and to be honest I got tired of resetting my town, so I just went with whatever was given to me and that's how I got pears.

Well I have two towns and have pears and cherries as native fruits respectively, but I chose pears because that's what my first town has.

As of this post at 112 votes total, I feel like we have reached the point of confidence in the data (feel free to keep voting/contributing to the thread though because I am curious if the data shifts any more)! Indisputably, the most popular/most common native fruit amongst the TBT community is Apples followed by Cherries, Pears, Peaches, and Oranges (in order)! With this data, we can conclude that people with Perfect Oranges will be able to trade with most people in the community (~90%!) for their perfect fruit while people with Perfect Oranges will only be able to trade with approximately 70% of the community. Assuming 112 votes is a big enough sample size to represent the entire AC community, any given AC player has more than a 50% chance of meeting another player or visiting a Dream Address with Perfect Apples or Perfect Cherries! With this information, trade with confidence Perfect Orange owners!

I restarted my town a few months ago and got oranges as my native fruit. I'm happy with it because that was my native fruit in Wild World.

For my first town, I chose apples which is my favorite and for my second town, I wanted something that was less common so I chose pears as my native.

My native fruit is oranges and I love oranges. I find peaches to be the most common native fruit for me. I know many people aren?t too fond of pears as their native fruit, but I personally love them. I think they are great. Or maybe I just feel bad for poor pears because nobody likes them?

I like oranges and pears, though, for native fruits.
