when you start up your game and right before you click on your save file
right below it there's a tab called "Mystery Gift" then another menu opens up with different choices
you click "Receive Gift" from there you have the option via Local Wireless, via internet, etc..
for the event codes you will choose "Get with Code/Password" enter in the code number and done!
start up the game and claim your Pokemon from the delivery man at your nearest Pokemon Center
