NA Nintendo Zone repeats DLC items

Unfortunately, at least where we are, the zones on that list rarely are actually working. We tried 6 and found just one that was actually on and connecting.

I had a similar experience, I went to a listed location barely 3 minutes from my home and there was no Wi-Fi to connect to there, so no Nintendo Zone.

I was curious and checked the map again -- they still are listing both Best Buy locations (it's completely off there), and all the McDonalds (a DS can detect the zone but cannot connect). The Starbucks are the only locations that work, and even they don't always connect to Nintendo Zone. They've added the American Eagle Outfitters though? That's... interesting.

I gave up on Nintendo Zones altogether, I just change my router name now.

Is there a tutorial on how to do this somewhere? I'm sure I can get some results with a quick Google search, just wondering if you had a specific recommendation. :)

I used a guide that was here on TBT; but mainly you need the instructions for your own router, you just need to change the SSID to Bestbuy. You will not actually have a Nintendo Zone but Pelly will give you the DLC as if you were.

This is the guide I saw: http://www.belltreeforums.com/showt...ne-EU-amp-NA-Exclusive-DLC-FAQ&highlight=SSID

If you haven't done anything like that with your router get your instructions out -- we had a new FIOS router and I had trouble accessing the control panel until I realized it worked differently. I did change my SSID back after we got the chairs but if they're going to keep doing stuff I may just leave it and reset everything that connects in the house instead.
