Mysterious 10th Villager

So I haven't had any campers in about 3 weeks, haven't talked anyone else's villagers to move to my town, haven't had any StreetPasses... yet this morning I woke up to a new villager plot in my town (and right in the middle of my campsite area )

So I guess after a while the game just gives you a 10th villager >_< The villager is Fauna which is kinda nice but I just wish she didn't move in right next to my campsite.

You know what to do- when she moves in introduce yourself and then ignore her for a week then she'll move out
then check the exchange thread to see if anyone wants her!

If you've visited anyone's towns, or had anyone visit you, then you can get one of their villagers without having to ask them to move in.

This! You don't even have to talk to the other persons Villagers. The game may still decide to shuffle the Villager that has moved into your town. Happend to me with Mitzi from a friends, but I was really glad it was her.

I love Fauna. Sorry to hear about the placement of her house She'll move eventually, and I'm sure someone here will want her. So far, I've had some bad luck with house placements- Coco, (one of my original 5) lived directly in front of my mayor's house. It was ridiculously intrusive! Needless to say the demon gyroid bunny is gone

Cobb also lived right in front of the train station, where I wanted to put a PWP. Mhm. He is also gone. I have Mathilda moving in from the campsite soon- hopefully that goes well.

You can move the bridge, but you cannot move the campsite.
So I?d much rather have a villager move in front of a bridge.
But I use the reset trick xD

Someone I know had a townie move right on top of a ramp to the beach. It really was a ridiculous placement.

Fauna <3 The game does weird things sometimes. Maybe the game thought you needed a 10th villager since no one has moved in or out for a long time?

If she was one of your original 5, isn't it you that unexpectedly and rudely moved in right behind her?

I'm guessing you've not allowed any villagers to move out for a while or something as my alt town I've TT'd through over a year never got a 10th. o: ~ and that was with visits with my main town fairly often.
