My villagers aren't singing anymore?

Mine are still warbling all over the island. It's a good thing, because sometimes I can't find someone who is hiding behind a tree (looking at you, Gruff and Lolly). They also give regular concerts on the plaza.

Not sure if it makes a difference, but I currently have 4 speakers set outdoors. Once summer comes, I'll add one more.

I'm not sure if this was patched since this thread was started, but I currently have Daisy, Punchy, and Judy singing K.K. Bossa at Resident Services. It's the only song I have playing on my island and it comes out of bamboo speakers.
