That wonderful moment when you FINALLY convince a friend to get ACNL and they really love it and all you can do is sit back with an "I told you so" smirk and a great sense of satisfaction. I now have a friend to talk to about the game with.

Another person's soul lost to the ACNL contract.

Good good
I have one friend who play acnl but he dint knew much
Now that I'm teaching him
He enjoying it even more

i got two of my irl friends into acnl and i'm really glad. one of them stopped playing but the other one has a beautiful town and a golden house.

Yeah, I gotta say personally I was regretting getting animal cross until I joined an online forum. Somehow having people to talk to about it gives the game more depth and makes it more interesting.

I don't have any friends "IRL" to make them play with me.
:lemon:

I only have my "internet" friends to play with.
That's enough for me.

Funny how you brought this up... My sister and I grew up with AC:Wild World, and after she owned WW for nearly 10 years, I finally convinced her to buy NL last weekend. I don't know where she got the strength to not pre-order when it came out two years ago and obliterate everything keeping it from her. Unlike her, I pre-ordered it two months early... haha. She hasn't gone a day without it as of yet! Now we can binge-play till we gray and prune

I've gotten four of my friends to get acnl so far and all of them have really liked it. The majority of us have college or long-shift jobs, so this game is a big stress relaxer for them! I'm pretty sure most people would like this game if they try it for a bit though! I'm currently trying to convert some of my cousins and they are really getting into it so far.

I've tried talking about it to two friends, one in particular I think would love it, as she could play with relatives that don't live near her. I put my game on to show her and she shook her head and laughed. Disappointed that she didn't seem to get the connectivity/play with others angle.
As an adult I've only ever got a negative response, so given up trying. They seem to see it as a time waster, albeit they don't say that to me. They watch TV tho & I play instead of it.
