Then when I was seeing all the river fish I'm missing
I remember the tedious fish saddle birchir
Decided to do it after king salmon
But I fished on the river and the thing I pulled its the saddle birchir
Without even trying

But king salmon it's being bad >_>

I used this method for the King Salmon.

Instead of fishing at the river, go down to the beach and scare all of the ocean fish and check the waterfall basin. Most of the time there'll be a normal salmon there, but the elusive King Salmon will eventually appear, easily distinguished by its huge shadow. I hope that makes sense!

Well I always go to that part of the waterfall connect to the beach and try there
But yeah il try that scaring all the ocean fish

Yay I did it after a while
Now to fish the last 4 I'm missing and be done with the fishing encyclopedia
(Thought on how many fishes I caught I'm still stuck at bronze oh well another time)

I also caught an arapaima on accident today. Really weird but lucky. I've always had a hard time cathing a saddled bichir though. I managed to catch two king salmons today but I think that's due to my town having three waterfalls.

When I was after the king salmon I found it didn't take me very long, since they spawn in the waterfall, just wait by there and keep doing save and continue to reset the spawn. At some point you will see a fish that is obviously larger than the regular salmon.
I can remember catching an arapaima without even trying....also caught an Arrowana on the same evening. Super lucky

The king salmon was the hardest to get for me. One of my friends on the forums helped me out a year ago since her town was in September and it wasn't September at the time (she had a cycling town). That stupid thing wouldn't spawn for a loooong time. Thankfully it eventually did though.

It took me a very long time to catch the King Salmon. It was my last fish to complete the encyclopedia. I did read up that it moves to the rest of the river after the 15th of September though so you might not find it at the waterfall basin in the ocean. Also if you are checking the waterfall basin, you need to be on the beach for the fish to spawn. They won't be there if you're up in your town.
