My game suddenly won't move villagers out?

So I bought a second copy of ACNL to TT and get different villagers for people. Ive been doing it for the past 3 days straight with no problems moving villagers out, until today.
I restarted my entire game and everything was fine, villagers were moving in until i had a total of 9. After that nothing, none of them would leave! I TT'd day by day till 5months had passed in the game. And still nothing! I thought the town was glitched so I restarted again, and its the same problem.

Has anyone else ever had this problem? Is the game broken?

the easiest and fastest way to move villagers is TT 2 days ahead then save and TT back to the original day. about 60% of the time if you walk around the village a villager will want to come up and talk to you and will say they're leaving :U try that

the way i was doing it villagers were constantly moving out. Now none do.

I don't know... I have someone CONSTANTLY asking to leave. Not a day goes by that someone doesn't mention it.

is there a way i may have reset too much and borked the game? I mean usually someone always wants to leave and now its nobody. very weird.

this is the second town ive reset where the villagers wont move. does that happen? o.o
i tried the "two days forward two days back" thing. nothing.

one of them i talked to constantly. to see if anyone would move out. and she never said anything about anyone moving. and nobody ever did. im not sure whats going on.

sometimes you need to do it more than once, like i said only works about 60% of the time. also you do need to introduce yourself to the villagers before they'll be able to move

I've got the exact same problem, I got a brand new second copy of the game, and went to try and move someone out, and TT'd for a month before realising not a single person was moving... I try all kinds of things but they just don't move XD I thought I did something wrong but I can't think what as the game is brand new XD

Are you talking to all villagers every few days? That's one of the advantages of the 2 day method. A villager won't ping if they're feeling ignored.

Not sure what else the problem could be. As long as you have at least 9, they should be asking to leave every four or five days barring a move-in/move-out. There's no way to glitch it into ever preventing a villager from moving though. You might just need to take a break and work on your strategy a bit. Pick one date that you always go back to and use the 2 day method from that date. Eventually someone will ping to move.
