He was someone I knew from playing Baseball with for about 3-4 years, a great player. :(

You'll be missed, R.I.P. Teddy. :(

No way.

He could have kicked ass if he was bullied, he was a strong guy.

Anyways, leave your prayers here if you wish. :)

Wow, I'm so sorry :(
did he leave a suicide note or did he show ANY strange activity?

I know of this girl who seemed so happy and like everything was fine, one day she told me that she was cutting herself, I could have never guessed why. Some people are just very good at hiding their emotions, I guess.

Sorry for your loss.

Nook, try and not be a jackass. No need to ask why he did it.

ehhh... Like...

I lack pity for those who commit suicide (Given it's kinda weak).
-- Anyway, thats MY opinion. Regardless we shouldn't turn this into an arguement thread and just ignore it aye?--

However. It's your friend so I am sorry for your loss, Death of a friend (no matter how close) is never easy. I lost a friend when I was in secondary (high) school. He had stopped one of my biggest bullies from bullying me only weeks before as well so I was quite badly hurt when he died (He fell off his bike into a fast-flowing river near us).

You're right, it is a weakness, but, towards Omega, my prayers towards you and his family. I've had a a family member commit suicide before, and several try to do so afterwards. It's not a comforting feeling to know that suddenly, someone so happy was gone. Just like him, my cousin was a great guy. He was popular and loaded with money, but he was unhappy. I'm not going into the psych-mode here, listing my ideas on how something could have led to this, or even my theological point of view. Again, I'll keep you guys in my prayers and I hope that you'll be okay. If you need to talk, drop me a pm.

Suicide is in no way "weak." What happens after death (if anything), is really the only thing completely unknown to mankind, so in a way I find it kind of brave for someone to accept that and go along with it anyway.

Everyone has moments of weakness, we are all still human after all. It is an awful unfortunate event, and I really wish anything I could say could make it better but really it can't.

I have felt nearly that bad before, and it is really something hard to fight, if I didn't have others to live for I probably wouldn't be here today. Sometimes people just don't realize how much they mean in time, but I am sure that there will be many upset by this. No one is ever really alone, no matter how alone you may feel.

I do feel bad for you little shakes someone quite as much as a death and all the more when done willingly with no idea why. Make sure you comfort others and you will certainly be comforted.

I am sorry. WHAT?
Suicide is a way of 'ending your troubles' because it has all got 'way to much'.
Frankly I've been through terrible things people often say "How the **** are you still able to be as happy as you are with all of that?".
It is weak because you give up. You resign yourself to death because its an 'easy way out'.
NOTHING happens after death. I hate that fact but it's true. You just go in the ground and your worm food.

Things happen. You're not the only one who has to deal with this stuff. If you are seriously upset, don't go boasting about it online. Go see a counselor or man up.

Kind of harsh, no? Why do you think most people come to a forum like this in the first place? I know you must be so self-righteous that you couldn't possibly have someone posting about their tragedy, am I right?

I've had a friend commit suicide and it ****ing sucks, having anyone to talk to (digital or not) can be nice. Had anyone told me to 'man up' about my friend of 8 years killing himself I would have punched him in the dick.

Get the **** out of here and go be Batman somewhere else.

Okay, let's brag about this pity party. **** happens, bro. It's not like people have to announce it in order to get any sympathy. Plenty of people have gone through the same thing, so what makes them so special? That's right, nothing. We all go through similar things; it's just a matter of fact of seeing who's going to grow up first instead of whine about it.

You can try to be the sympathy hero here, but I'm now going to baww for anyone. How about, instead of 'Man up', let me say, 'Open your eyes to the real world.'

I'm truly sorry for your loss. D:> I recommend talking to a counselor or family member if you feel sad for a really long time. Remember all the good times you had with your friend, and hopefully the hurt will go away in time.

To those saying suicide is 'weakness': not cool. :L
