Personally, I don't like Time Traveling. It just doesn't seem right o bend time when you aren't supposed to to. The only reason I TT'd in the first place was to get my all-time favorite Villager, Alice. And the circumstances of what happened were pretty much perfect:

1. As I'm about to Save & Quit one of my current dreamies tells me that they want to move, so I say no.
2. I go forward two days.
3. My least favorite villager is 5 seconds from my house and says that she want to move right away. (Pancetti)
4. When I go to get Alice from Ruddy Kitty the very first time I talk to Alice she asks to move in.

I mean, this was fate for me, right? This couldn't have gone much smoother, besides the fact if Pancetti asked instead of my dreamie at first, but yeah. (I did lose 2/2 black roses and 2/4 pink roses, with Beautiful Ordinance on, but totally worth it still!!) <3

Congratulations on obtaining Alice! I personally don't like to Time Travel. I did on towns in Wild World that I restarted just because I was bored, but as for New Leaf I never have, and never will. *I'm not against Time Travelers, though!*
Sorry that you lost things, but overall it seems you're happy with everything else!^^

I'm not against time travelers if they are only doing it to cycle villagers, but if they are doing it for profit, then I'm against it. Still, I don't intend on TTing anytime soon.

I've never time traveled but as i get more and more frustrated with my villagers, I'm starting to consider it. I still don't think that I will because i feel it ruins an important aspect of the game but I still think about it all the time. I used to heavily time travel in the animal crossing for gamecube and because of this, lost interest in the game in just a month or two

I've never time travelled and on NL dont plan to, simply becaue i did it on WW, and it made the game stale and boring, so ive always planned not to on this one
well done on Alice, shes a sweetie and was one of my faves on ww

Congrats!!! Its great when you get your favourite villager isn't it? :P
I tend to TT to get villagers out because I get too comfortable with day to day playing and forget someones moving in and then BAM either the most hideous thing thought up by the designers or a villager moves into a spot which irritates me and makes me not want to play the game till they go....

Lol Alice is one of the best Koalas. I mean, I only got her once, while resetting, along with Rosie, Freya, Sheldon, and Broccolo, and I restarted again due to me not liking Sheldon AND Broccolo xD And to add shes cute.

Actually, getting hideous villagers is a good thing, in a way.
1. You have space for a dream villager once they move out
2. You wouldn't care if they even did move out
3. If it's someone's dreamie (I doubt it...), you can give them that villager for free to make someone's day :D It's a 'win win situation'

...Sorry, I don't typically time travel, but how do you lose flowers with beautiful ordinance on?

That's what is bugging me too. I also TT to get Villagers out/in and do a 2/2 cycle with the beautiful town ordinance on and have never lost a flower. Not a normal one, not a hybrid.

I'm wondering this too -- I don't tt but I have had to skip playing for several days more than once, which should have the same affect. No flowers lost anywhere. Are you sure you didn't lose them some other way? I did a bunch of trading yesterday and lo and behold a pink rose near my train station is missing now.

I had night owl, then switched to beautiful ordinance in that one day and then time traveled. The game must check for wilting before it switches the ordinances around. Which sucks. And I was also confused. But it's weird to think that 4 hybrids wanted to wilt after one day.

I time travel horribly x.x
I have since the series allowed the clock to be changed any amount of times.
For me it doesn't make it too boring, I don't get to play as much as I'd like in the first place and the times I can are inconvenient and at night and that makes it difficult to just...stay put and let the days go normally.
My favorite neighbors have been there from day one and have asked to leave a few times but I never let them :O If Merry left my town I'd probably reset xD

Weird that it was only hybrids but that could do it -- the ordinance starts the next day so you could have had wilt, and then those flowers (if not watered by your villagers) would have died. Bad luck I guess! :(
