It's things like this that make me glad I have cats rather than a dog. Cats can't do as much damage.

For some reason this reminds me how my cat would always go over and turn off my gamecube while I was playing animal crossing as a kid... but this is a lot worse since I only lost a few hours of progress not like the entire game. =<
Try and hid it a little better whenever you get a new one? It would have really been a lot worse if the poor thing would have choked on it. o.o

Bright side is I remember them going down in prices a few weeks ago? And maybe easier to find a user copy now, too?

So sorry to hear this happened to you ;A; my dog couldn't care less about any of my stuff because she can hardly be bothered to get up and go pee lol. But dw! Starting a new game is really exciting and now you can start fresh and improve in places where you previously couldn't. I just restarted my game and I'm going slow and having a great time with it.
My gosh that is THE most horrendous accident I've heard in a while!!!.. So sorry to hear that ((
Honestly though, if I have a doggie hanging around at home I would literally lock up all of my precious games/handheld consoles in a safe to prevent accidents happen lol
once, my dog ate a sandwich that i had put on the dining room table. dogs can be so crazy sometimes. on the plus side, at least your doggy didn't get sick from doing that!

My dog did this the day after I got NL for the first time around christmas time ;-; Sort of glad she did, I wouldn't have been happy with my map. But here's a hug -virtual hug-

My bird has chewed through SO many of my cords.
he chewed through the cord to my keyboard, AND my speakers;which were like really expensive to buy and I currently can't afford to get new ones so no sound unless I use headphones, and he likes to chew through those too.
but even though our pets do stuff like this we just can't help but love them; v;
my bird could chew up anything and i'd still love him more than anything hahaha.
Ahh I feel your pain ... hopefully you won't feel so bad when you've got a new town started. Fresh start !
Think pets have an eye for these things like how my cat ignored all the cheap cables and went purposefully on the desk and chewed the lead of the expensive keyboard instead. Aww, pets.. aha.
-hugs- I am so sorry to hear this happened to you! Dogs can be little buggers sometimes >< I have two at home, and one likes to chew all kinds of things, from pens to reading glasses or even leaves from the plants in the house... The other one doesn't dare to, he jumps away when you even glare at him if he takes something he's not supposed to. But somehow they know to leave the remote controls and game systems alone XD We can leave remote controls etc on the couch or on our low table where they can reach easily, but they never bother with it.
Silly animals sometimes.
