Hold the kid down and calmly tell him that you using the internet has nothing to do with the PS3 failing, and there is no difference between having one or two tabs. Also tell him that he is interfering with your school work and hitting him/turning off the laptop are not normal and out of hand. Your school work is more important than a 12 year old playing video games, which seem a little too mature for him. If he is still bugging out and hits you, what I would to is hit him right back, not as hard though, maybe just even restraining him from doing any harm.

If you don't have terribly fast internet, even the slightest internet usage can mess up your CoD game. I know for a fact that when you are playing that game and your internet is crewing around because one of your family is looking something up, it is very frustrating. So whilst what he is doing to you is clearly wrong, it isn't like he is a mentally ******** baboon.

What I suggest is you set up like a schedule or whatever with your bro, of times when he can play CoD and times when you have to do homework, he needs to realise your homework has to take priority over his CoD sessions sometimes.

And about your parents thinking you are doing self-harm, they are pretty lame :/
