My boyfriend just got New Leaf

He's so into it and it makes me laugh. He got his own copy to play on my DS and he just figured out who his dream villagers are and all he wants to do is fish. I'm trying to teach him some other stuff he can do in the game but he's adamant on just fishing.

Has anyone else convinced a family member or friend to play Animal Crossing, and they ended up loving it?

I convinced my mom to play it. Though she hasn't been around it that much, so I took it so I could do cycling. I stopped that. My mom hates 3d, good thing the 2ds is around. I might get it for Christmas for my mom. It's perfect for her. I try to convince my brother to play it but he declines. And even when I tell him all the good stuff that he can do in the game, he still declines. Weird because he wanted to play CF so bad. Good thing he doesn't say things like "Its for kids and for girls" etc. All he ever says is that he just doesn't want it. I also wan't my sister to play pokemon too, and maybe AC:NL.

My best friend! I played with her little sister and she got jealous and made her own character. She's already upgraded her house fully before I have!

I convinced my mum to play. Mostly because I was excited for it. She already had a 3DS for Mario/Professor Layton/etc. and I told her she should try AC:NL when it comes out. She wasn't very excited up until she actually got hold of it but now she's more addicted than I am.

I keep trying to get my ex-boyfriend (we're just good friends now) to get New Leaf but he keeps putting it off and making excuses. xD
