My Biggest Pet Peeve in New Leaf

I absolutely hate that villagers can put their house anywhere they want.

I just had one of my dream villagers move into my town, Bianca.

Where does she put her house? Right next to mine. Over the path. In front of the bridge.

So now I either have to reconfigure my whole path or move her out and choose a different villager to replace her.

Bummer way to start the day

That's why you need to do the trick, of making a new character and resetting to get a good spot
wouldnt guarantee you Bianca again though
if shes really one of your dream villagers, just change the paths :/

I finally got my one and only dream villager (Lobo)! And he put his house down directly in front of mine. </3 But it took 72 resets to get him, so nothing was making me give him up.

I did the trick and I got so tired of trying to find a good place for Willow that the last time I reset I pushed A without even looking a bunch (was watching videos at the same time) and I went on my mayor by accident. >> Really stupid stupid mistake, then Willow was where I wanted my Cafe.

Didn't do that mistake twice at least. >> Good lesson! Lesson learned! -punches self-

Yeah, Walker moved into my planned Japanese garden, but luckily I've diverted the Japanese garden to the top corner of my town. I couldn't do the reset thing or I would've lost him.
