My benches disappeared...?

So...

I TT'd to the next day to get Biskit to move in. I was walking around my town and.... two of my benches just disappeared...???? I didn't destroy them or anything, and regardless TWO public works projects just disappeared.

Is my game damaged or?

Go to Isabelle and ask her to demolish a project. Do the benches show up in the menu?

Was there a villager that was attached to those benches that recently died? 0-0 It could always be a ghost...

This happened to me with my Hot Spring. I think it's because I placed a house near it XD

hi guys, didnt think I'd get so many responses

Well, I lost those two benches but benches are still on the project list for requests. They are not on the demolish list.. Furthermore, my other yellow bench in a different spot is intact.

I made another bench where the two were before.

As you can see... It's not that close to anything that significant I don't think...
I used the reset trick to choose Marshal's location and deleted the plot thereafter, but I don't think it was in that area.

I did drop my DS down a flight of stairs though >____>
But everything else has been fine.

Maybe a weird fluke glitch....

That big square dirt patch in front looks like you placed a house there and then deleted it? If so, that's what did it. Placing a new character's house on or near PWPs will demolish them.
